About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Intelligence Analyst to support our Enterprise Sales Director focused on the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) sector. This role will be instrumental in providing market research, competitive insights, industry trends, and strategic support to strengthen our position in modernization and transformation initiatives across large financial institutions.

General responsibilities of the role:
  • Conduct detailed market research and analysis on the Banking and Financial Services industry, including trends in digital transformation, cloud adoption, legacy modernization, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, etc.).

  • Build competitive intelligence profiles for key players, including consulting firms, technology providers, and system integrators operating in the BFSI space.

  • Identify new account opportunities, whitespace opportunities, and entry points into large financial institutions.

  • Track major industry events, M&A activity, regulatory changes, and IT budget trends that may influence buying behavior.

  • Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Sales Director to prepare account plans, executive presentations, and client-specific strategic materials.

  • Maintain and update industry battlecards, market landscape maps, and customer segmentation frameworks.

  • Help define value propositions and business case templates tailored to BFSI modernization buyers.

  • Support the preparation of thought leadership, including blog posts, white papers, and internal briefings.

  • Analyze deal win/loss data to recommend improvements in positioning and messaging.

Main Skills Requirements:
  • 4–6 years of experience in market research, sales strategy, competitive intelligence, management consulting, or industry analysis (preferably in IT Services, Banking, or Financial Services).

  • Strong knowledge of Banking and Financial Services industry dynamics (retail banking, corporate banking, insurance, payments, capital markets).

  • Good understanding of technology transformation trends: core banking modernization, cloud migration, AI adoption, cybersecurity, regulatory tech (RegTech).

  • Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication skills — ability to create clear, concise executive-ready deliverables.

  • Proficiency in tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pitchbook, Gartner, IDC reports is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
